Tips for Premiere Pro
General
To make image or clip fit frame: Right click on clip and select Set to Frame Size to make it fit frame.
Edit text: Graphics » Edit » then block text and edit
To rotate a clip: On the Premiere Pro timeline, select the video clip you want to rotate. Head to the Effects Controls panel and click on the number beside Rotate. Enter the degrees by which you'd like to rotate.
To change the frame size of a sequence: Click on Sequence at the upper left of the screen, then Sequence Settings. Then look for the Video heading then Frame Size. Note that the sequence frame size is automatically set by the first picture or video you drag into the timeline. See below for standard resolutions and frame sizes. Recommended resolution/size is 720p which is 1280 x 720. This keeps the size of video (in bytes) manageable.

Captions
Open the Captions workspace (Window > Workspaces > Captions). This opens the Text panel (where you create and edit caption text) and the Essential Graphics panel (where you stylize your text). In the Text panel, click Create new caption track.

Audio
To edit audio in Premiere Pro using Audition:
In PP right click on audio track and audition will pop up
check out 'hard limit' tool in audition
effects > amplitude and compression > hard limiter
Green screen
Put background video on V1
Put greenscreen video on V2
Go to Effects > Video Effects > Keyring > Ultra Key
In menu that opens (probably left) choose eyedropper and select green

Scaling Clips

To begin, select the clip in the timeline that you want to scale or resize.
Next, navigate to the Effect Controls panel. If you cannot find it, go under the Window menu and select Effect Controls. The panel should then pop up.
Now find the Scale property. It’s value is 100 by default. Click the value and drag your mouse to the left or right. Dragging to the left will make the value smaller, thus scaling the clip down. If you drag to the right then the value and the clip will get larger. Instead of click + dragging, you can click the value once and type in a new value and hit the return or enter key to submit the value.

Using Keyframes
Basically, to use keyframes, click on Effects, then to the left of the effect you want to use, you'll see a little circular-like button. When you hover over that button, it says “Toggle animation”. See the first video above for more.
